Ülesande püstitus
„Start“ nuppu vajutamisel hakatakse automaatselt pakenditele etikette trükkima, kui need on printeri juures olemas. Süsteemi käivitamine võib toimuda ainult siis kui silindrid on algpositsioonis, pakendeid pole printeri juures ning „Stopp“ nupp pole aktiivne.
Trükkimisele tulev pakend lükatakse printeri vastu ning jäetakse hoidma selle vastu. Seejärel antakse printerile käsk trükkida etikett pakendile. Printimiseks kulub 3 s. Pärast trükkimist vabastatakse pakend ja lükatakse printeri juurest transportliinile.
Etikettide trükkimine peatatakse „Stopp“ nupuga. Pooleli olev töö tehakse lõpuni valmis. „Stopp“ nupp on NS kontaktiga.
Etiketi trükkimisseade peab võimaldama trükkida etiketi ühele pakendile, et kontrollida etiketi trükkimist. Selline töörežiim aktiveeritakse vastavale nupule vajutades. Seade hakkab tööle ainult siis kui pakend on printeri juures olemas.
Töörežiimi (ühekordne trükkimine ja mitmekordne trükkimine) valikust peavad andma märku signaallambid. Signaallambid peavad kustuma kui vastav töötsükkel või töörežiim on lõppenud.

Exercise: Label printing device
Exercise description
Labels are printed automatically on the packages when the „Start“ button has been pressed and packages are by the printer. System starts to work (in automatically), when the cylinders are in the starting positions, a package is not by the printer, and the "Stop" button is not active.
Package, which is coming for labelling, is pushed and hold against the printer. Then a label printing command is send to the printer. It takes 2 seconds to print the label. After printing, the package is released and pushed on the conveyer.
The automatic label printing is stopped with the „Stop“ button. A labelling work in progress has to be finished (made to the end). NC contacts are used for „Stop“ button.
The label printing system has to be able to print on a single package a label. This operation mode is used to check the quality of the label printing. The operation mode is activated when pressing a corresponding button. The system starts to work only when a package is in the front of the printer.
Some signal lamps are used to indicate the operation mode (single and multi printing) of the system. The signal lamps are switched off when the corresponding system operation mode has ended.
